Wethe4 Productions is registered as a "sole proprietor" business in the Province of Ontario, Canada, BIN #310227681. It was created in February 2021, in response to ClubRunner's creation of a "Community Marketing" category at the ClubRunnerCommunity.com forum by John Borst.
John's Biography
I grew up in the growing end of the florist industry in Brampton. ON. My vocational years span1960 to 1996 as an educator during which I held a wide variety of positions culminating in Director of Education for the legacy Dryden Area Public Board.

In 2005, I began blogging about Catholic education in Canada using WordPress software. By 2010 it was the number one elementary/secondary school blog achieving 100,000 page views per month at which time for personal reasons I put the effort to bed.

At the same time, I joined the Rotary Club of Dryden and in January of 2010 convinced the club to purchase ClubRunner. I continued to edit the site until June 30 2021, when I moved from Dryden to Kingston, Ontario where I joined the Kingston club. I also edited District 5550's site from 2011 to 2017. My focus is on content and design with a particular interest in the use of video at the club and in a blog. I have been a speaker on breakout session panels at Rotary Conventions in 2011, 12 and 13.

During the 2018-19 year, I was the District Governor's newsletter editor using the new bulletin format now in the beta stage.

My blogging is now about Rotary. From 2012 to 2017 I wrote and managed the blog 5550opinions.wordpress.com During 2018 and 2019, I blogged on Rotary at Wethe4.wordpress.com, from where the name for this enterprise is derived.
My goal now is to bring together website design leaders who dedicate their time and talent to making a difference in their club's public image and who share a passion for designing and maintaining their club's website as the foundation of their club's social media marketing strategy.
